With an investment of LKR 140 million, Universal Auto Assembly has brought in a new industry to the district of Hambantota, where unemployment has been a foremost issue. In support of this cause, this venture will generate over 100 employment opportunities and more with the future expansion plans.

The Company has begun its operation with the assembly of Single Cabs (2WD) and Double Cabs (2WD and 4WD) which are built and priced to suit the requirements of the mass market and local industries such as, agriculture, fisheries, transportation and construction.

Appointing of Sales and Service dealers in key areas are currently in progress. The mechanics are being trained on a regional basis for better after sales service towards the customer.
